Locus (whose human name is Anna Goodman) is a Lili'tu--half-human, half-succubus. At the start of Issue One, she's in her early twenties. She stands 6'6" in those boots, which she wears because they're the closest she'll ever get to having succubi hooves.
She's the keeper of Unaph'to Xel'Duum--the Wrath of the Life-Drinker--a sword which can kill a human merely by touch. It's made of an otherworldly metal with the tears of angels folded into it. The blade extends and retracts with the help of the scar on her left palm.
She has what is called, in the Tongue of the Ancients, the "Zoda'tai Korin'i", or the "Unveiled Eyes". Also known as the True Sight, it lets her see anyone and everyone in their true form, human or otherwise. She can also see invisible creatures.
She also owns a badass 1970 Plymouth Hemicuda, which was given to her on her 18th birthday by her Uncle Spook.
SPOOK

Spook's real name is Shen'to Bana'i, which means "Eater of Spiders", but don't let that fool you--he'll eat everything and everyone. He's an O'kot'tu--a race of predators from another dimension (or something). He was summoned here a very long time ago under circumstances which I can't talk about right now, for fear of giving too much away.
Spook owns an enchanted pistol called Zol'to Shen'to Bana'i, or "Fist of the Eater of Spiders". The gun never misses, and every shot is irreversibly fatal to the target. Spook tends to only put one bullet in the pistol at a time, because he doesn't like to depend on it too much.
Spook can grow long, knifelike talons out of his fingers and can behead the average human in a single swipe. But his best trick is what he calls "thought masking". When he does this, he's essentially invisible. This doesn't work on security cameras, unfortunately, but it works pretty well on people and even other monsters.
Spook drives a 1380cc Harley-Davidson Fat Boy he calls "The Widowmaker". There's a rumor that he carries a live hand grenade in the saddlebags, but no one's ever been able to confirm this.
Spook is married to Silk, the sister of the succubus who gave birth to Locus.
TEMPLETON ISAAC GOODMAN

Templeton (Isaac to his friends) was orphaned as an infant and raised in a Catholic orphanage. He grew up to be a normal, everyday schlub until he got caught in the crossfire of a drive-by shooting. After waking from a three-year coma, he found that he possessed the True Sight, which caused him no end of trouble at first. He passed this on to his daughter, Locus, whom he fathered on the succubus Eden. As of this writing, Isaac's story is yet to be told in its entirety, so I won't say anything further.
EDEN

A succubus and twin sister to Silk, Eden was put under a spell (or something) by the Necromancer Wilfred Hampstead to fall in love with Isaac and bear his child--Locus, the Lili'tu.
SILK

A succubus and twin sister to Eden, Silk is married to Spook. She's also the one who taught swordfighting to Locus, and has a sword of her own similar to Unaph'to Xel'Duum, but not nearly as powerful. Silk also has the scar on her left palm which these kinds of swords tend to come with.
THE DEVIL

Sammael first appeared in Issue Four, appearing as Isaac's Dad. Which is odd, as Isaac had never seen his father before.
LOCO

Loco was a werewolf living in southern Arizona. He's one of the people who tried to kidnap Locus, and was partly responsible for Isaac's death.
MASQUE

Masque was a Revenant--a vampire fed on animal blood to keep her mindless and easy to control. She's the one who pulled the trigger and killed Isaac, although she did this at Karrak's urging. Masque was created by a sick dude known only as "The Necromancer".
THE NECROMANCER

A true piece of shit, the Necromancer had a thing for turning pretty girls into mindless revenants so he could rent them out as assassins and have his way with them on their off days. I made him up, and even I am glad he's dead. He was a real sicko.
SHYAMA AND KONEKO

Two other Revenants created by The Necromancer. Those poor girls. I feel so bad for them.
KARRAK

Karrak was an Ael--a creature who lives both in the material world and the Aether, which makes them very hard to kill. He was bound (somehow) to the Vamphyr Chimera, and did a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff to get Isaac murdered.
CHIMERA

The Vamphyr who we first see on the first page of Issue One, and again in Issue Three, although no one ever says his name out loud. He was the mastermind behind the whole "kidnap and/or kill Isaac so we can take Locus hostage and give her and the sword to Hampstead" plan. He was an asshole.
WILFRED HAMPSTEAD

The Necromancer Wilfred Hampstead is the main bad guy of the story, and tends to creep everyone out, even other Necromancers. He's the one who set up Eden and Isaac to have Locus, and, in Issue Two, we learn that he's also trying to raise Xel'Duum from the dead. It's entirely possible that one has something to do with the other, but you'll have to keep reading the comic to figure that out.
Hampstead has in his "employ" a Nefilim, of which, at this writing, not much is known. There will be a lot more about the Nefilim in the future, though, so keep reading.
